My stay at Carlton Oaks Country Club was a mixed bag. The property itself has a lot of potential with its scenic surroundings and spacious rooms, but many aspects felt outdated and not well-maintained. While the staff were friendly and made efforts to improve the experience, the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations left much to be desired. I appreciated the pool area; however, some essential amenities were lacking, and the dining options could use a serious upgrade.

My stay at this hotel was unfortunately quite disappointing. While I appreciated the friendly housekeeping staff, the room was plagued with cleanliness issues and insect problems that made the experience quite uncomfortable. The location isn't bad, especially if you enjoy golf, but I definitely didn't feel like I got good value for the price I paid, considering all the issues.

I stayed at Carlton Oaks Country Club for two nights, and while the setting is beautiful with friendly staff, the accommodations left much to be desired. I had a pleasant experience at the golf course located in the scenic San Diego Mountains.
